Wasserburg Hydroelectric Power Station

A hydroelectric power plant with five vertical Kaplan turbines already existed at the Wasserburg Inn barrage. In order to make use of the additional water available, another power plant (5 MW) compliant with the German Renewable Energies Act (EEG) with a pit turbine (discharge rate: 100 m3/s) was constructed.
