The controlled flood retention basin is designed for a 100-year flood event in Triesting (Austria) and will be able to reduce the HQ 100 to 233 m³ / s once completed. It consists of a transverse dam and two longitudinal dams with a total length of approx. 2.8 km and is designed as a zone dam with a sealing core. The retention volume is approx. 725,000 m³.
