The flood protection measure aims to protect the City of Passau in the Gottfried-Schaeffer-Strasse from a 100-year flood event (including climatic factor). For this purpose, a combination of fixed protection and mobile elements with a height of up to 3.5 m and two pumping stations each with a capacity of approximately 1.0 m/ s are planned for the 500 m long section.
