Eixendorf Dam

The Eixendorf dam was built as a rockfill dam with a height of 25 m, a crown length of 130 m and an asphalt concrete inner seal. The volume amounts to approximately 5.4 million m³ in the case of normal water level, and a further 15.2 million m³ of retention volume are available for flood events. In addition to flood protection, it serves to improve low water levels, to generate energy and leisure and recreation.
