The Great Brombachsee on the franconian lake district serves in addition to the flood protection in the Altmuehltal mainly for water regulation for northern Bavaria. EDR was commissioned to check the operation of the bottom outlet (Prerouting to the "In-depth Investigation"). It was also found that there is microbicidal corrosion (MIC) in the area of the bottom outlet. For this purpose rehabilitaion options are to be developed.
